INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 2, 2006) — In response to the increasingly advanced skill level of high school spirit participants, several rules changes were made January 8-9 during the annual meeting of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Spirit Rules Committee in Indianapolis.
The United States All-Star Federation (USASF) and the National All-star Cheerleading Coaches’ Congress (NACCC) have signed a far reaching agreement that will unify the all-star cheerleading community, especially with regards to competitive rules and rule making responsibility.
As part of the agreement, the NACCC will become part of the USASF, serving as its official coaches rules committee. The arrangement calls for the NACCC and its members to annually submit a formal recommendation to the USASF for rules for all competitions.
