East Windsor cheerleading team ‘Starz’ on the world stage

[Hamilton Starz Large Junior 2 team] won competitions in Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Myrtle Beach, S.C. during the winter. It won the National Championship and Level 1 and 2 Grand Championships and a full paid bid to the world championships during a competition in Ocean City, Md. on April 6.Less than a month later, the Starz added a world championship.
“A lot of work went into those two minutes and 30 seconds,†Rebecca said. “It took the whole year to get that down.â€
But by counting on each other and themselves, they had those two minutes and 30 seconds at something close to perfection.
