One hundred and seventeen Nigerians stranded in Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania over COVID-19 have arrived in Nigeria on Sunday.
The airline announced their arrival via a tweet on Sunday.
It said: ”Evacuation Update: A Total of 117 Passengers evacuated from 3 African Countries #Rwanda #Tanzania & #Uganda by @AzmanAir safely arrived at International Wing of MMA Lagos 2nd August 2020 around 03:00hrs.”
three East African countries due to the coronavirus pandemic have returned home.
The 117 evacuees who arrived in Nigeria was conducted by a Nigerian airline, Azman Air through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

However, the protocol of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control have tested them free from COVID-19. But mandated them to go for self-isolation for fourteen days.
