Delta Gov Appoints NNPP Rival As Special Adviser For 2023 Elections

Goodnews Agbi, a candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the March 18 gubernatorial election, has been named as Special Adviser by Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Eight more people were named as Special Advisers, according to Kingsley Emu, Secretary to the State Government, who revealed this to journalists in Asaba, the capital of the Delta.

Barrister Michael Ogboru, the son of Great Ovedje Ogboru, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for governor in the most recent election, and Hon. Ebikeme Clark, the former chairman of the Burutu Local Government and the son of Chief Edwin K. Clark, the head of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) and a former Federal Commissioner in the Second Republic, was listed by Emu as the new Special Advisers.

Additionally, the governor named Mr. Sylvester Oromoni, whose son, Master Sylvester Oromoni, a student at Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos, was reportedly murdered by his classmates.
Charles Whomrowho Oniyere, Mr. Sylvester Oromoni, Hon. Shedrack Ekene Rapu, Dr. Donald Onyibe Peterson, Hon. Peter Uviejitobor, and Chief Nath Azuka Igbadi are some of the participants.
The Special Advisers’ swearing-in date will be revealed in due time, according to Emu.
