Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has imposed a 7 pm to 7 am curfew on the state to curb further spread of COVID-19.
After three positive cases of COVID-19 in the state, Akeredolu has vowed to declare a total lockdown of the state if another COVID-19 case is discovered.
He, however, clarified that the third case was not a member of the National Youth Service Corps but an employee of the Nigeria Army Clinic that served there in 2017.

He ordered arrest and detention of any person caught during the curfew hours.
The Ondo Governor said it was disturbing that a third COVID-19 case could be detected in the state despite measures put in place to curtail the spread.
Akeredolu noted the stiffer measures being put in place was to stop COVID-19 from spreading across the state.
