Alex Akinyele, a former Minister of Information is dead.
A statement by one of his sons, Constantine Akinfolarin Akinyele, confirmed that the Ondo chief passed away Thursday night after a brief illness, Tribune Online reported.
The former minister earned a degree in the English language from then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University).
