Ambassador Elvis Otobo Gets APCON Induction

The Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) has inducted the Head of Public Relations, Caleb University, Ambassador Elvis Otobo into the Advertising Practitioners 
 
The ceremony which took place at the Sun Heaven Hotel, Parkview, Ikoyi, Lagos, witnessed Otobo inducted as a registered advertiser in Nigeria.

Preceding the induction, APCON organized a world class training on content creation and delivery for marketing success with experts in the industry as facilitators. The facilitators include, Yomi Benson, Managing Director, Culture Communications;   Charles Novia – Filmmaker/Creative Entrepreneur, November Production; Feyi Olubadun – Founder/Managing Partner, Open Square Consulting; Seni Adetu – Founder/Group Chief Executive, Algorithm Media; Doyin Oluwole – Creative Brand Consultant, Zak3630 Ltd; Steve Babaeko – CEO/Chief Operating Officer, X3M Media and Bolaji Alausa – ECD, Noah’s Ark to mention a few. 

The training was declared opened by Mrs Ijedi lyoha, RPA  Ag. Registrar/Chief Executive, APCON who also administered the oath taking exercise at the induction ceremony.

You will recall that Act No. 55 of 1988 as amended by Act no 93 of 1992 and Act no 116 of 1993 (now Advertising Practitioners Registration Act Cap A7 of 2004) is the body empowered with the regulation of the practice of advertising in Nigeria.
