Atiku, Tinubu Meet in Abuja on Saturday

Former vice president and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, met in Abuja on Saturday.

The meeting which took place at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport had in attendance the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri.

Although details of the meeting remain unknown, close aides to Atiku insist that it was unscheduled and was only an encounter at the airport.

Recently, there have been reports across the media space that the National Leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, is interested in the 2023 Presidential ticket of the party. The former vice president has also not ruled out the possibility of him contesting for the 2023 presidential election.
