In a significant development, the Nigeria Police Force has apprehended the infamous land grabber, Abubakar Suleiman, popularly known as Miyaki, for unlawfully invading a property in Aja, Lagos.
Reports indicate that Miyaki was taken into custody alongside 10 accomplices while armed with various weapons during the invasion. This arrest follows Miyaki’s recent association with the murder of Idowu Keshinro, a local government staff member.
Before his death, Keshinro identified Miyaki as one of his attackers in a video statement, detailing how he was shot multiple times while overseeing a farm. Despite an earlier arrest, Miyaki was released pending further investigations, raising concerns about his potential involvement in the murder.
The recent arrest has reignited fears that Miyaki may indeed be culpable in Keshinro’s death. The family of the deceased has urged law enforcement to ensure that Miyaki remains in custody until he is held accountable for his alleged crimes.
