Nigeria’s National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has said that a total of 325,514 Nigerians across the states have as of March 25, 2021, received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In the statistics, residents of Lagos, Ogun, Bauchi, Kaduna and Jigawa states received the highest vaccination.
Lagos has the highest number of vaccinated people of 81,185; followed by Ogun State with 30,704; Bauchi 30,538; Kaduna 24,745 and Jigawa state with 22,265.

Moreover, in terms of percentage vaccinated relative to the target population, Bauchi, Jigawa, and Kwara are leading the pack at 37.9 per cent, 32.5 per cent, and 31.6 per cent respectively.
