A renowned Ifa Priest and the Olu of Ibogun in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba (Dr.) Fakayode Adesina Faluade, has led members of his Ibogun community to offer special prayers to the Almighty (Eledumare) to avert the crisis in the country.
In this address at the occasion, the Ibogun monarch, who noted that he got the directives from the Almighty in his dream to offer the special prayers, expressed hope that the appeasement of Eledumare would bring about the much-expected peace and unity in the country.
Oba Faluade stressed that the prayer session, which included series of appeasements, was for the Almighty (Eledumare) to deliver the country from utter destruction, allow peace to reign in the land, as well as restore the nation’s lost glory.
He further stated that with the offer of special prayers to the Almighty, every form of stagnation and frustration militating against the peace, unity and advancement of the country had been destroyed, stressing that the country had been destined for greatness afterwards.
The monarch expressed that during the prayer session, he prayed for peace to reign in the land and for the Almighty (Eledumare) to give the nation good leaders that will usher the country into realms of greater peace and prosperity.
Oba Faluade, however, advised every Nigerian to always avoid unnecessary night outings and endeavour to offer fervent prayers to the Almighty as families in their homes while being in the form they were created by God in order to avert war and the nation’s disintegration.
