Fulani Herdsmen In Oyo Sue State, House of Assembly Over Anti-grazing Law Passed

FULANI herdsmen in Oyo State have filed a suit against the state government and the State House of Assembly challenging the anti-grazing law recently passed in the state.

The herdsmen argued that the law is a gross violation of their fundamental rights in Oyo State.

The Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria who also joined the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the state in the suit is praying that the law would not stand.

Meanwhile, the law which had been debated, passed and signed into law by the executive arm was aimed at checking persistent farmers-herders clash in the state.
