A 96-hour aim would have allowed Hilda to beat the existing record holder for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual” if she had continued through her original stop time of 4 p.m. today.
The chef from Lagos started the contest on Thursday after turning on her cooker at 4 o’clock, and she beat the previous world record holder on Monday morning.
