Imo: PDP Chieftains Storm US, UK Embassies With Protest Letter On Supreme Court Judgement

Led by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Uche Secondus and some of the party’s chieftains have stormed the United States and United Kingdom embassies in Abuja, insisting that the Supreme Court Judgement must be revisited.

They are specifically calling for the intervention of the United States, United Kingdom, and the European Union to prevail on the Nigeria judicial system in respect of Ihedioha and Uzodinma Supreme Court judgement.

The PDP chieftains made the peaceful protest on  Friday demanding that the sacked PDP candidate, Emeka Ihedioha, be restored as the governor of Imo State.

Starting from the PDP’s national secretariat, they walked through some streets of Abuja to the embassies where they submitted their petitions.

The protesters comprises members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), Board of Trustees (BoT), and National Assembly, among others.
