President Muhammadu Buhari expressed outrage over reports that five newborn babies were abducted in Anambra and ordered an immediate decrease in the region’s escalating crime rate.
The alleged kidnapping took place at Stanley Hospital in the state of Nkpologwu.
According to reports, the kidnappers selected the infants and fled quickly.
In a statement released on Friday in Abuja by his media assistant, Malam Garba Shehu, Buhari expressed his concern over the peculiar incident and demanded that this case be resolved right away.
Therefore, he gave the following instructions: “Security at hospitals must be impenetrable so that attacks of this sort do not occur again” (NAN)
