Lagos State has announced the discharge of forty COVID-19 recovered patients from its isolation centres,
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State disclosed in a post on the official Lagos State Government Facebook account on Thursday.
He said: “Today, 40 patients:17 females and 23 males including 2 foreign nationals were today discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society”.

“The patients 19 from Onikan,7 from Gbagada,3 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 3 from LUTH isolation centres were discharged today after full recovery and testing negative to Covid-19”, Sanwo-Olu announced.
He, however, implored Lagosians to continue to adhere strictly to precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
