Minister Oyetola to Inaugurate Inland Dry Port in Ogun State

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, is set to preside over the foundation-laying ceremony for the Inland Dry Port in Ogun State this Friday. This significant event marks a pivotal step in the region’s efforts to stimulate economic growth and promote industrialisation.

The Inland Dry Port is strategically situated at Dry Port City in Soderu Village, Itori, along the Papalanto-Ewekoro axis. This development is part of a broader initiative aimed at transforming Ogun State into a key player in Nigeria’s logistics and transportation sectors.

According to a statement released by Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, this groundbreaking ceremony underscores Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering economic development and advancing industrialisation across the state.

The ceremony will gather a diverse group of stakeholders, including transport experts, regulators, and policymakers. Notable attendees will include representatives from the Nigerian Shippers Council, Nigerian Railway Corporation, the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Ogun State Shippers Association, freight forwarders, and other essential industry players.

This event not only signifies a leap towards enhanced infrastructure but also reflects the government’s dedication to creating a robust economic environment in Ogun State.
