Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta State is now the Chairman, South-South Governors’ Forum.
Okowa emerged on Friday as the chairman after elaborate consultations to take over from the outgoing Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson. Dickson left government house today Friday..
Mr Daniel Alabrah, the Special Adviser on Public Affairs to Dickson hailed the selection of Okowa as the new chair of South-South governors.

Dickson urged the governors to extend the same hands of fellowship they had with him to the new chairman.
