PDP Vice-Chairman In Kogi Dies Playing Tennis

Chief Kola Ojo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Vice Chairman of Kogi West is dead.

Kola Ojo slumped while playing lawn tennis at his Lokoja residence on Tuesday evening.

Ojo’s family immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, where Ojo was later confirmed dead.

Chief Ojo, who hailed from Okoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area of the state, died in his 60s.

Mr Bode Ogunmola, the PDP State Publicity Secretary said that Ojo was one of the reliable pillars of PDP.

Ogunmola said that Ojo did his best in the last governorship election before he died.

Ogunmola prayed that God would grant his family and party members the fortitude to bear the loss.

Ojo retired from the Legal Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) before venturing into partisan politics.
