Police I.G Deploys Surveillance Helicopters to South-West, North-West

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Thursday, ordered the immediate deployment of police aerial surveillance helicopters to major cities.

Adamu pointed  out the South-West and North-West of the country as the focal point for the aerial surveillance helicopters

He gave the directive in Abuja through the Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Frank Mba.

“The Police Air-Wing Operational Base in Abuja caters for Abuja-Kaduna highways,  North-West and North-Central.States. The new base in Ondo State will cater for the adjoining states and highways straddling the South-West,” Adamu said
