The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has deemed any admission not recorded in the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) as illegitimate, invalid, and unenforceable.

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Registrar of JAMB announced at the third matriculation ceremony at Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) Oko, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede stated that “for any tertiary institution admission, it needs to be done via CAPS, which is on the JAMB webpage.

“Any admittance that is outside the CAPS, regardless of the institution, is prohibited. And I believe that this issue is crucial, stated Prof. Oloyede, who was present at the session in person through Mr. Ganiyu Yahaya, an Assistant Director of JAMB.

Prof. Mohammed Sulyman Audu, the guest speaker and deputy vice chancellor for academics at the Federal University of Lokoja, advised the students to abstain from immorality in all its manifestations.
