Lagos State Government has listed out markets that would be closed on Thursday 26 March 2020 to reduce the risk of contracting the deadly coronavirus in the State.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made it clear that markets, where foodstuffs are sold, would not be closed, adding that markets selling food, medics essential products will remain open
Below are the list of markets to be shut by the Lagos state government to curb the spread of Covid-19
Sanwo-Olu reiterated that Computer Village, Ikeja, Balogun market in Lagos island, Iyana-Ipaja, GSM Village, Airport Road, Ikeja, Mandilaz market in Lagos island, Oluwole market in Lagos island and Kantangua market will be closed tomorrow.

According to him, other markets that will not open beginning from Thursday 26 include, Alaba international market, Trade fair market, Igando market, Alimosho!! Abule-Egba, Ebute Ero market and Agege market.
Also, Ogba market, Ladipo Market, Arena market Oshodi, Oshodi market and Lawason market will remain closed till further notice, says Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
