Sitting Gov is Commander of Boko Haram Allegation: DSS Quizzes Mailafia Again

BY MARY KUYE

Department of State Security (DSS) has on Monday quizzed for the very third term, the former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr Obadiah Mailafia over his statement that a sitting Governor in the north is a commander of the Boko Haram sect.

After vowing not to further honour the invitation from the DSS, Dr Mailafia on Monday for the third honoured the invitation.

The former Deputy CBN governor who arrived at the DSS headquarters at about 11 am. reiterated that he stands by his word that a serving northern governor sponsors Boko-Haram.

According to him, not even death threat can make him recant his statement.

Mailafia on arrival, to the DSS premises, told journalists that if he perishes let him perish.

“I am ready to perish for speaking the mind of millions of Nigerians over the incessant killings of innocent citizens going on presently in the country.”

“I don’t know why I have been invited again this is the 3rd time that they are inviting me to their office and I am honouring it.

”There have not been any instances that warrant any crises in the country after the interview which I granted a radio station in Lagos,” Mailafia said.
