The Plateau State Police Command paraded a lady who is suspected of stealing a 10-month-old child in the state alongside 27 other people charged accused of various offenses.
When the suspects were paraded at the command headquarters in Jos, the state’s commissioner of police, Okoro Julius, declared that efforts were being made to purge the state of criminals.
The suspects included accused kidnappers, armed robbers, and power vandals who were known for stealing transformers’ armored cables in a number of towns around the state.
The infant that had been stolen had been found on the suspect and given to the mother, the CP continued.
Annabel Geoffrey, the mother of the kidnapped infant, explained to reporters how the child was snatched from her.
