The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede has vowed that the UTME results would be released tomorrow,Saturday. The registrar who disclosed this to journalists in Abuja on Friday,urged all candidates to check the board’s website tomorrow.
His words: “We are releasing our results tomorrow, we are having a meeting today to consider what to put out”.
You will recall that since the 2019 UTME was held from April 11 to April 18 with over 1.8 million registered candidates, there has been agitations from stakeholders for the release of results.
The registrar heap the delay to his willingness to first screen the entire candidates’ results to weed out those who were involved in examination malpractice.
He vowed to deal decisively with anyone, including its staff, found involved in any form of infraction.
He said: “We are not hiding anything; we are ready to deal with anybody caught and they must face the wrath of the law.”
