The West African Examination Council (WAEC), has warned its WASSCE candidates in the ongoing examinations not to fall for fraudsters who cloned past examination papers to sell for gullible candidates.
WAEC Nigeria’s spokesperson, Mr Demian Ojijeogu on Monday said the leaked WAEC Mathematics paper in circulation was faked.
Speaking with TheCheer, Ojijeogu said: ”I am aware of the fake Mathematics questions slated for today (Monday) that is in circulation.
”But I will warn WAEC candidates not to fall for the fraudsters who are out to defraud students. ”The truth of the matter is that what is in circulation that people refer to as current Mathematics question paper is fake.

”The fraudsters faked past WAEC question papers. They even have about three different versions of it which the cloned and selling. In their errors, in some of the WAEC questions paper in circulation, they are carrying public candidate and some private inscriptions.
”I pity any candidate who relies on these faked question papers because it would lead to their failures.
