The respective Governors of Kaduna and Ekiti States, Nasir El-Rufai and Kayode Fayemi have come under heavy criticisms for attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) which kicked off on Wednesday in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Federal Government had decided to pull out of the forum to drive home its displeasure at a series of deadly attacks on foreigners, especially Nigerians, in different cities in South Africa.
Jim Ovia, the chairman/founder of Zenith Bank Plc, had announced his withdrawal from the forum on Thursday.
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has, however, been blasted on social media for singling out Obiageli Ezekwesili, a former Minister of Education for criticism.
Muhammadu Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano was also criticised by Nigerians for gracing the forum with his attendance.
