Xenophobia: ‘Stay In Your Country’, Popular S.A Rapper, Tells Nigerians

AKA

South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, addressed as AKA is currently trending on twitter after a tweet he sent irked a lot of Nigerians as it didn’t seem to douse tension resulting from the xenophobic attack on African foreigners in South Africa.

In AKA  twitter handle, he said: ”Stay in your country.”  The tweet was embarrassing to many fans because it’s on a day Nigerians and the rest of Africa are thinking of how to come to terms with the xenophobic attacks going on in South Africa.

You will recall his tweets also during the last nations’ cup after South Africa loss 1-2 to Nigeria in the quarter final. He wrote, “We should have just lost to Egypt … rather than Nigeria.”

Immediately he wrote that on his twitter handle, many Nigerians started trading words with him. Just as Nigerian singer, Davido  also unfollowed AKA on Instagram, an action that is being hailed by many.
