Ado Alhassan Doguwa of the All Progressive Congress, APC has defeated the PDP candidate, Air Commodore Yushua Salisu on Saturday at the rerun election in Tudun Wada/Doguwa federal constituency in Kano state.
Doguwa polled 66,667 votes to defeat the PDP candidate, Air Commodore Yushua Salisu, who scored 6,400 votes.
Prof. Mansur Auwalu Dindawa, the returning officer of Tudun Wada/Doguwa constituency said, ” Ado Alhassan Doguwa of All Progressive Congress, (APC), having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected.”
