Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former lawmaker, Senator Buruji Kashamu, is dead. It was gathered that the former senator died of COVID-19 complications at First Cardiology Consultants, Lagos.
Late Kashamu stayed at the First Cardiology Consultants, Lagos about nine days before he died.
In his reaction, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce tweets:: “I have just lost my good friend of forever to COVID-19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable.”

According to him, he died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.
