Family and Witnesses Allege: Abubakar Sulaiman Miyaki Poses Serious Threat to Our Lives

Following the arrest of popular land grabber, Mukaila Salau (Actors), Abubakar Sulaiman Miyaki and two others in connection to the death of a local government worker, Idowu Keshinro who was brutally murdered in April, witnesses and family members of the deceased can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed.

The suspects were arrested some weeks ago and detained in Abuja but according to reports, one of them, Abubakar Sulaiman Miyaki has been granted bail after he claimed he was in Umrah, Saudi Arabia when the unfortunate incident that took the life of Idowu Keshinro happened.

However, instead of maintaining a low profile, Miyaki has been accused by family of the deceased and those that witnessed against him of death threat. They revealed that he has been threatening to kill them one after the other and nothing will be done because of his connection with people in high places.

‘’Since Miyaki got bailed, he has been threatening us that he is going to kill all of us for witnessing against him. He claims to have connections with top people that will sweep the case under the carpet. We don’t know who he knows but we want justice for the deceased and his family. The police must seriously work on this threat because we can’t even sleep with our two eyes closed anymore.’’

Furthermore, they insisted that Miyaki cannot be exonerated from the case because his claim that he was at Umrah when the issue happened is false. They urged the Nigerian police to ask him to prove his claims if truly he was at umrah.

‘’We want to urge the Inspector General of Police to handle this case well, Miyaki wasn’t in Umrah when this happened and if he claims to be, let him provide evidence to back up his claims. We want justice for our deceased son, that’s all we want. The police should not betray us.’’
