“I never brought up Obi. Please, whomever is using me as a bargaining chip for the devil to perform any task for anyone is satanic, and they ought to apologize,” he pleaded.
Mbaka, however, advised churchgoers to cease protesting and to keep calm while continuing to pray for him.
On Sunday, the Catholic Diocese of Enugu announced Mbaka’s relocation to the monastery.

He claims that I haven’t asked anyone to organize a demonstration for me even though I’ve heard that some individuals are intending to do so.
“I don’t want to hear that anyone protested my trip to the monastery in order to vent their resentment.
Help me, fellow worshipers, to put an end to any protests that anyone might carry out on my behalf.
Instead of a protest or rally intended to support me, it might put my priestly calling in danger.
So, he continued, “promote peace, love, and more prayer during this time. God of heaven will take care of the rest for us in Jesus name.
He emphasized that his absence shouldn’t result in anything terrible that would give the devil even the slightest amount of glory, saying that as a Catholic priest, he must obey the mother church under the vow of obedience.
