Police Detains 44 Suspects Over Adamawa Warehouse Attack

The arrest of 44 people involved in the operations of stealing food and non-food goods from government warehouses has been verified by the Adamawa State Police Command.

The arrest was verified by SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s PR representative, to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Yola.
The incident took place in the state capital on Sunday morning at 11:15, when the thugs broke into the storage facilities and seized the stuff.
The list of products includes plastic buckets, generators, wrappers, beds and maize, rice, beans, and corn. The arrest of 44 people involved in the operations of stealing food and non-food goods from government warehouses has been verified by the Adamawa State Police Command.
The arrest was verified by SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s PR representative, to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Yola.
According to Nguroje, security forces have been sent out to enforce the state government’s curfew and safeguard both public and private facilities as well as marketplaces.
He urged the public to uphold the law and gave the assurance that security personnel will retrieve some of the things and detain those responsible.
